Biography

I’m Max Loveland, a filmmaker, storyteller, and creative adventurer driven by curiosity and connection.  With roots in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC, and experiences spanning coasts and cultures, I’ve developed a unique perspective that shapes my work.  My passion lies in crafting films that inspire and challenge, blending visual storytelling with emotional depth to reflect the multifaceted human experience.

Beyond filmmaking, I’m a passionate foodie who views food as a lens into culture, history, and human connection. Whether it’s savoring dim sum in Chinatown, indulging in my favorite empanadas at The Cuban Kitchen, or experimenting with recipes in my own kitchen, food is how I connect with people and their stories. This passion is the inspiration behind my future film company, Will Work For Food Films. I’d happily work for a great meal—because, for me, food isn’t just sustenance; it’s a universal language that speaks to me sweetly.

Whether producing events, performing in theater, or collaborating with diverse communities, I thrive in environments that celebrate creativity and bold ideas. My work bridges the gap between different worlds, always aiming to spark curiosity and leave a lasting impact.
